    John is a 27-year veteran of the fire service.  

    He is experienced in training large breed dogs with
    the Schutzen method.

    John is a great admirer of the German Shepherd
    Dog.  He has owned and trained GSDs since 1987.




    Purrs & Gurrs is owned by Cristi Melson, former
    Vice  President  of  Indiana’s  Animal  Protection
    Coalition and life-long advocate of animal rights.  

    Cristi attended Rutgers University/Robert Wood
    Johnson Medical School where she studied
    Veterinary Science and Research.

    She has more than seventeen years of experience
    working with animals of all sizes and dispositions.




Jen is a graduate of H.S.E. and a student at Ball State        
University studying Radiology.   

She enjoys working with cats and dogs of all sizes.

Lisa is a 2003 Magna Cum Laude graduate of
St. Joseph's College where she earned her B.S. in
Elementary Education.  She is currently a lead
teacher in a private school.

Lisa enjoys working with cats, dogs, caged animals,
birds, reptiles and amphibians.

Beth is attending St. Mary of the Woods College
where she is working towards her Masters Degree
in English.

She loves both cats and dogs, but dogs, especially
BIG dogs are her favorite.   Beth looks forward to
working with your canine and feline kids!
